Spot The Fake Smile

Although fake smiles often look very similar to genuine smiles, they are actually slightly different, because they are brought about by different muscles, which are controlled by different parts of the brain.

Simply said, fake smiles can be performed at will while genuine smiles are generated by the unconscious brain, so are automatic.
I got 18 out of 20 correct but that's probably because I've done some psychology and I know the difference between a Duchenne smile, a type-2 smile and an intense smile.

Here's an experiment to test whether you can spot the difference between a fake smile and a real one.
Spot the Fake Smile.

They mentioned it a little at the end but I always heard that you can spot a fake smile by looking at the eyes. In a real smile the eyes close/scrunch up a little. i used that and got 20/20. Go figure. When people fake smile they dont realize how many face muscles you actually use

I also got 20 out of 20 easy, but just at deciding quickly, not thinking, just feeling, and looking at the eyes.
