In an interesting little twist, it seems that flight planning software and GPS receivers are showing Area 51 as an airport with the call sign KXTA.
To boot, the Jeppesen FliteStar'' flight-planning program and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association Real-Time Flight Planner identify KXTA as Homey Airport.
