Highway Speed-To-BPM Calculator

The Highway Speed-to-BPM Calculator will determine what speed you should drive to match a song's rhythm with the approaching stripes on a highway. The federal standard for interstate highways is 40 feet between the front of two stripes. This varies by area, but is generally around that distance.

For example, if the beat per minute for a song is 140, you should drive 63.64mph to match the rhythm of Linkin Park's 'Bleed It Out.'

Who comes up with this crap?

Wouldn't a better example be anything by the White Stripes?

If you're listening to Linkin Park, the best speed to drive is as fast as you can directly into a bridge abutment.
