Wing

Wing Han Tsang, popularly known simply as Wing, is a New Zealand singer of Hong Kong origin. Having taken up singing as a hobby after emigrating to New Zealand, Wing gained an audience by entertaining patients at nursing homes and hospitals in and around Auckland. Wing also guest starred on South Park in an episode named for her.

Various times Wing has been advised to stop singing, but she continues to perform and record. Should she give up singing? You decide for yourself when you hear Wing perform the Beatles' 'I wanna hold your hand.'

Here's Wing's website.

Do people book her as a joke? How'd you find out about this insanity?

She is often booked as a joke, yes. However, she doesn't believe that, taking her singing seriously.

Her Christmas album is the worst, in my opinion.

As to how she was found, just as William Hung how to launch a singing career...
