Living myself in Paris (and occasionally having to park there too), I know too well this situation... the trick is, when you park (and if it's possible of course), you must be sure to leave some room either in front of or behind your car,so you will have some room to maneuver in if some $%รง comes and parks too close to your car.
As the guy in the video says "that's what the bumpers are for" and I totally agree with this...
