Hey, Can I Have Ten Dollars?

Hey, Can I Have Ten Dollars is a site that shows panhandling on the internet is still possible. You are asked to donate ten dollars. You can click either a 'yes' or 'no' button. Clicking on the 'no' button takes you to a page where you are then asked for five dollars. All in all it's kind of funny.

I did a Whois search and found out that the registrant is 27-year old Kelly Lewis from Farmers Branch, Texas. A further investigation showed that she is also known as DJ Kelle Marie, playing at the ZĂșbar, a Dallas danceclub.

Whether this is going to work for Kelly, I don't know. Currently the total amount of money she has gathered is $85.

She's at least making a profit already, unless her hosting costs are outrageous.

That's more than a lot of other, "smarter", Internet entrepreneurs.

She's made over $500 now. Took her long enough, but she did.
