Eyes Wide Shut

In 1947, Life Magazine asked some famous comic strip artists to draw their famous characters while wearing a blindfold.
The results are interesting. Some drawings don't even look like the original while others are still recognizable.

This reminds me of when I was in art school and they used to make us do this thing called "blind contour drawing." The naked models would stand there and we would have to stare at them and draw them
without looking downat the paper. it was one of the most uncomfortable things I'd ever had to do...
