American Women Presidents is a national political action committee dedicated to electing women to the U.S. presidency. They're looking forward to electing America's first woman president on November 4, 2008, and to attending her swearing as President of the United States on January 20, 2009.
American Women Presidents endorses New York's Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton for president in 2008. On January 20, 2009, Hillary Clinton will be sworn in as President of the United States, and former president Bill Clinton will become America's First Gentleman.

Is this an effort to prove that women can be as bigoted and prejudicial as men are accused of being? I'm unaware of any school of poli-sci thought that holds that fitness for executive office resides in the presence or absence of a vagina.
