From the twisted minds of the Science Creative Quarterly, a publication by students of the University of British Columbia, Canada, comes the Order of the Science Scouts of Exemplary Repute and Above Average Physique - being an initiative aimed squarely at promoting informal networking amongst science communicators, and the sharing of merit badges.They have a badge for everything. These include the 'Nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah, I've got a TV gig' badge, the 'I'm pretty confident around an open flame' badge, and the 'I may look like a scientist, but I'm actually also a pirate' badge.
