Fast Food: Ads Vs. Reality

Fast food in advertisements always looks very tasty. But in reality you get something else.

On the left is KFC's Famous Bowl, on the right is what you get.

I once read an article about how they photograph the food. One photo shoot involved identifying the top restaurant in the chain, having employees compete for a chance to cook for the shoot, then bringing lots of them together and cooking ALL day to get one product worth shooting, doing it over and over til its right, plus lighting and temperature tricks, and all kinds of shenanigans to make sure they abide by truth in advertising principles and still get one good picture. Thus, the one they use will be the ONLY product that ever looks that good!
