Rachael Sudlow hopes to preserve a scrapbook of the essential elements that build the often-changing Midwest countryside.

Photographing solely in rural Kansas, she seeks to interpret the sublime classical landscape through the eye of an impressionist while working with a humorous new subject and perspective:
the cow (and a few horses and sheep).
