While I really like this post and the photos (makes me shiver looking at some of them) there's something really funky about the link. It generates popups, even more intrusive than usual, that can't be closed out and can't be copied and linked properly.

oh stop it. I use mozilla for very specific reasons. Denying popups doesn't help. I don't use MSIE. That's not the problem.
