Discovery will take off for its last mission, STS-133, on 1 November. Yet even with almost its last gasp the space shuttle program delivers something new. This time it is taking a very special astronaut up to the International Space Station.
Robonaut 2 will be the first human shaped robot in space. Plus he even has his own Twitter account to keep us up to date with his outer space escapades.
(thanks Robert-John)

"He looks more like C3P0 on steroids..."
Actually, the early version had a head that looked like Boba Fett's helmet.
