Loving Vincent is the first fully painted feature film in the world, bringing the paintings of Vincent van Gogh to animated life. The film will require 56,800 oil on canvas paintings, 12 for every second of the movie. The paintings, by a crew of 100 artists, will all evoke Van Gogh's unique style, and will reference 120 of his works.
