They're going to be selling this machine for nearly $300 - and it only holds enough food and water for 2 adult cats to last three days. Who goes on vacation for three days? If you're home all the time anyway, you don't need a machine to feed your cats. This sounds like an enormous waste of money - unless they come out with a model that will actually hold enough food and water to last at least a week. But then they'd probably charge $600. Ugh.
