Yep. At least some of it is real. I have seen some darn impressive cap snappers in my day. I can't do it to save my life though... must be a guy thing.
so sick of these videos. the fake reactions are exactly the same, whether it be some crazy basketball shot across a stadium or a baseball shot. that is what marks it as a fake for me (here is how we think people would react)...

This is very real. I grew up in rural Tennessee and every boy and girl learned how while drinking beer on the riverbank.
25 years later I impressed a bank president with my cap snapping. Come to find out he had grown up in rural Arkansas.

Never seen it with bottle caps, but my cousin used to hit me with pennies snapped the same way from across the room. He was a bit of a jerk.
