Designer Norman Bel Geddes

Norman Bel Geddes (1893-1958) was an American theatrical and industrial designer who focused on aerodynamics. Tragic as it may be, many of the world's most prodigious minds fail to see their visions of the future vindicated.

Norman Bel Geddes made plenty of money, but fifty-five years after his death, he hasn't received credit for emphasizing vehicle aerodynamics, pioneering theatrical design, and comprehending an automobile-based society, all of which he did as early as the 1930s. The New York Times once called him the 'Leonardo da Vinci of the 20th century.'
