The thing that leapt out at me about these incredibly smart people, was that the named people almost all excelled in math or science. While I don't dispute their accomplishments, nor their benefit to the world, I think it overlooks the necessity for social intelligence. As an example, we might want to put Nelson Mandela in this list for his preventing a blood bath with his reconciliation policy instead of looking for revenge.
