Steam Train

There are still parts of China that appear to be untouched by progress. As long as the locos and rolling stock stay on the track, all is OK. But it looks scary.

China made their last steam locomotive in 1988. The one in this clip looks much older, and in poor condition. It's leaking steam everywhere.

Those Locos don' appear to be moving very fast. Maybe 20 mph? Do they even need rails to travel? Why dont they just roll across the ground without them? ( Maybe that's a stupid question) Rails look to be in bad shape.
