Considering my mother argued with me for a good 20 mins one day over dinner about my age, somehow this doesn't surprise me. Little girl was probably taking advantage of the situation to get herself some booze.
What sort of ridiculous country doesn't allow people of 20 to drink? Furthermore what sort of ridiculous country would arrest somebody for underage drinking? I understand that the police would arrest an underage drinker (or anybody else) for disorderly conduct, but in sensible countries it would be the father or the barman who would be in trouble.
