Landing Gear Failure: Plane Saved By Truck

The nose gear of a Boeing 727 malfunctions, yet the pilot lands the plane on the back of a Nissan Frontier with such precision nobidy on board noticed the difference. This is obviously an advertisement for the Nissan. Nevertheless it looks spectacular.

It looks so faked!
Just compare mimimum landing speed of a 727 and the maximum speed of the nissan, add mimimum noselweel load of the 727 compared to the maximum load of the nissan... the wrong spoilers and missing leading edge slats...
and the smoking tires of the truck on touchdown of the plane's front wheel...
not to forget the dragster like acceleration capability of the van..

Just Fake

That's what I said. It's an advertisement.

Like Gerard said: "This is obviously an advertisement for the Nissan. Nevertheless it looks spectacular."

Even so, I'm not sure I like it. But I guess it's now worse than the ads that show cars speeding on winding mountain roads, or pickup trucks bouncing over rocks while towing something...yeah, like everyone does that.

Hehe, just wait until the first pickup truck saves the first Space shuttle,
or untill 3 Trucks save a plane with total undercarriage failure...

even though things wouldn`t have been so bad anyway..
