Love the irony of that. I used to live near a low bridge which was hit frequently. The thing is that the bridge now had automatic signs warning high vehicles to turn back and it still gets struck with alarming frequency.
I suppose truck drivers can be complacent (It'll be OK), arrogant (I know better than some dumb sign) or sometimes just plain stupid.
