How cool! I used to drive by that place on my way to work, and they'd leave the huge hangar doors open when the weather was nice so you could see them at work.

Every day or so, they'd have a brand new bunch of big shiny aircraft outside, each painted differently for their customers.

So no, manufacturing is not completely dead in the US yet. We still make expensive things.
