Is the glass half empty or half full? is a common expression, used rhetorically to indicate that a particular situation could be a cause for optimism (half full) or pessimism (half empty). Of course it is neither full nor empty.
As one with a scientific background I would say that the volume of a glass is divided into two equal parts; one a colorless, odorless liquid, the other a colorless, odorless gas. So, each half of the glass is full, one with a gas, one with a liquid.

I am sorry, but half empty is empty. Half times zero is zero. So, the glass is half full...
I don't think the volume of the bottom half is the same as the top half.
Since the bottom is narrower, the level should be higher, therefore I think the answer is neither. The glass is less than half full.
The glass is too big.
Phaysics qould say that glass is full.
50% Air, 50% Water, non the less its 100% filled.
