This clip was shot during a mission flown by the shuttle Discovery. It's a video from one of the solid rocket boosters facing the middle part of the external tank. A camera and contact microphone were attached to its frame.
There's not much going on until the 2-minute mark, but then the boosters separate and it really starts getting interesting.

STS-124 was a Discovery mission, not Atlantis.
