Explaining The Giant Holes In Guatemala


They are an amazing sight: a sinkhole with a 66 feet diameter and 100 feet deep. Many people were puzzled about these giant holes in the ground but these features are not mysterious at all. They do not (as some think) lead to the center of Earth. At the bottom of these holes one usually finds a sewage water collecting system.
