Nice to see that some of these are actually primary safety devices. That is to say things that will help avoid accidents.

However, even some of these will lower driving standards in the same way that many experts believe secondary safety devices have done. The theory being that the safer you make a driver feel the less safe their driving will become. BITD it was called Volvo Driver Syndrome - these days most cars suffer from it equally.

Don't believe it? Think about ABS, traction control and automatic stability control. Time was that drivers would slow down in wet conditions, these days you see little or no reduction in most drivers speed. The only reason I can see for this is that drivers believe that all these cunning electronics will prevent their losing grip on the wet surface.
