HTML5 is currently being developed as the next major revision of HTML (HyperText Markup Language), the core markup language of the World Wide Web. With the first draft of HTML5 released in early 2008, parts of HTML5 are already supported in Firefox, Safari, Opera and other web browsers. The final standard is expected in 2012.
But what exactly is HTML5?
