Animals In Danger From The Deepwater Disaster

As an oil slick the size of Jamaica slides inexorably into the marshlands and inlets of Louisiana the cost to the human population, only recently recovered from Katrina is enormous. As for the animal life of the area the final cost may possibly be incalculable.

Here are ten of the species most affected: some you will have heard of before, others will be less well known perhaps even new to you.
