TED (short for Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a U.S. private non-profit foundation that is best known for its conferences. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created TEDx, a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
TEDxMunich will be held at the BMW Museum in Munich, Germany on June 7, 2010. There will be speakers from different countries. All under the theme 'Changing Energy: dream.discover.design,' in any aspect from general design to eating design, film making to music, installations, light, politics, and to some extend sustainability.
In between speaker blocks TEDxMunich will host think tank sessions and the attendees will have time to get to know each other, hatch new ideas, make new friends, change the universe, etc.
