One of the names given in the Florida department site is EDWARD ROBERT MUSCARE. The initials spell out ED.R.M or edarem.So it is him. Looking at the crime sheet,he was charged with sexual battery 22 years ago.He failed to report once and was charged with failure to comply. I do not want to pass judgment on someone for a crime they committed decades ago,but since he is still a registered offender,I reserve my right to be creeped out.
I'm guessing discrimination played a BIG role. Says "injury NOT likely", sounds like victimless crime, what he do, pat someone’s ass who was shaking it?

No I'm not a Muscare fan and I'm not trying to start something as useles as a flame war. I'm sorry if I come across like that. But this guy is a child molester. That's a crime that cuts deep. He's served his time but he still owes a great debt that can NEVER be repaid, no matter how sorry and remorseful he is (or if he is). But I just want to respond to Alice's request about his KC days. I've lived in Kansas City most of my life and I remember "Uncle Ed" Muscare very well. He hosted a children's after school TV show through out the 1970's on KBMA channel 41 (now KSHB41). The show was the standard kiddie show stuff, puppets, cartoons and local celebrities would stop by. At the same time he also doubled as a late night Saturday horror movie host on same said TV station. In the 1980s the kiddie show and horror movie gig went away and instead Muscare was featured nightly at 11pm on "All Night Live" which once again he was host between commercial breaks and old movies and 3 stooges shorts. The circumstances of his departure from Kansas City aren't known but it was a very hasty and sudden leave from a community where he was known for years.
I never heard anymore about Muscare until one night in 1986 or 87 I saw him in a story on the local news. In the film he's in handcuffs being escorted out of a house by cops. The creep walks right by the camera, snarls and growls like a dog. Next thing I know he's all over the internet like a bad rash. Again, my apology to you, the blog host if I came across too harsh. I have no love or liking of predators of children. I've had my say and I'll say no more.
