Frida Kahlo (Magdalena Carmen Frida Kahlo y Calderón), 1907 - 1954) was a Mexican painter, who has achieved great international popularity. She painted using vibrant colors in a style that was influenced by indigenous cultures of Mexico as well as by European influences that include Realism, Symbolism, and Surrealism.

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is collaborating with curator Rene Yanez in conducting a
Frida Kahlo Look-a-like Model Search for Tableaux presentations. They are looking for up to 4 to 5 models over the age of 17 to recreate Frida's paintings or moments of her life.
