The internet meme is no longer a new phenomena. A meme is when a hyperlink or file is spread from person to persons. A meme has as many faces as your average politician - it can be a website in its own right, a joke, an image, a video, a weird and wonderful news story - or even an unexpected link.
There have been huge phenomena on the internet over the years. Many enjoy huge popularity and then, as ever, familiarity breeds contempt: some we just hate from the word go. Here is a selection of

All Your Base is not on the list, therefore, I do not believe the list. Or goatse, for that matter! I think the composer of this list is safely writing from the edge of the internet and clearly is free from the insanities and perversions of, for example, 4chan. The author should be consider himself/herslef lucky if those are the worst 10 s/he can come up with!
