Ghost At Gas Station?

People looking to fill up their gas tanks in Parma Ohio, USA, got an eyeful, but no one's exactly sure what they were looking at. A strange blue cloud seen floating and darting around customers, freezing for 30 minutes and then speeding from the gas station, remains unexplained even though it was caught on security cams.

I think it was an insect on the camera lens.

yep, its something on the camera. I wouldnt think an isct would be light blue but who knows.

It definately casts no shadow and the people at the pump dont see it. Its on the camera.

no one thought of checking the lens? What is wrong with people... I feel embarrassed. Can't believe this made it to the news.

The sad thing- remember the people who were saying it was a ghost or an angel? Their vote counts same as ours. :(

I thought it said that it was "visible with the naked eye" - no?

If that's true, it would seem that the PHOTOSHOP! or BUG! explanations couldn't be accurate.

Just because someone SAID it was visible with the naked eye doesn't mean it WAS visible with the naked eye. "Bug" is the first thing I thought when I saw the way it was moving, also. The light blue color could be based on a nearby light and the fact that the focus is so far away from the macro focus that'd be needed to show something on the lens.

It is an insect on the cmaera lens. I work with survaillance cameras, this is a common occurence.
