The Daily Render

The Daily Render is Nikolas Schiller's web site where he makes maps that look like masks, feathers, and acid trips. He combines geography with art.

He takes aerial photographs from the U.S. Geological Survey and transforms them into beautiful kaleidoscopes, quilts, and political statements.

The one shown here is a quilt of Lower Manhattan.
